What is The FemTech Revolution About?
The FemTech Revolution is New Zealand’s first and only FemTech marketplace. FemTech, short for Female Technology, is a term used to describe technologies – software, apps, devices, products – for women’s health and wellness, including things related to reproductive health, motherhood, menstruation, sexual wellness, and general health and wellbeing.

About our Founder
Kelly is a Bioengineering researcher with nearly 20 years experience in the HealthTech sector. I’m also a mother of three, all born within 20 months of each other!
During my career, I have witnessed first-hand the benefits of health innovations and technologies and want to increase the impact of these tools for all women. My experience as a full time working Mum has had me screaming out for innovations to save my body and my sanity.
The FemTech Revolution is the love child of my need and my knowledge. Come and join us and we can learn together about the changes happening and improving women’s lives.

Why do we need FemTech?
Female bodies are different from males. To complicate this further, we have hormones that fluctuate over our menstrual cycle and our lifetime. The FemTech Revolution was born, in part, due to concerns for the sex and gender bias in health.
We want to talk more about women’s health – ending the taboo around topics like incontinence, periods, and menopause. We want to make a difference by empowering women to make technology work for them.
